Your data is yours
EGS apps keep your information on your device, not on our servers. We don't have a copy. No account, no sign-up, no email required to use the app โ so there's nothing about you for us to lose, leak, or sell.
When an app uses the internet
We won't claim "100% private" โ we'd rather tell you the whole truth and let you decide.
- Recipes load from a public recipe database. That request carries nothing about you.
- If you tap an "order groceries" or delivery link, it opens a partner's website โ a normal web link, always labeled as one.
- Optional features that use an outside service are clearly optional, and we tell you before they run.
That's the whole list. No background tracking, no analytics watching what you do.
Leaving is easy
One tap exports everything to a file you keep. One tap deletes it. You're never locked in, and you never need our permission to walk away with all of it.
How EGS makes money
Most companies won't show you this. Here's exactly how the lights stay on:
- One-time purchases. You pay once to support or unlock an app. No subscriptions.
- Disclosed affiliate links. If you order groceries or a meal kit through a link, EGS may earn a small commission โ at no extra cost to you, always labeled, never required.
- Optional paid backup. If you ever want cloud backup or multi-device sync, that's a paid add-on โ and it's encrypted so even we can't read it. You'd pay for a service, never for your data.
- Tools for the trades. Some EGS apps are built for pros, who pay more because the tool saves real time and material.
What EGS will never do
- Sell your data.
- Run ads that track you.
- Rent out your information.
- Bury the truth in a 40-page policy.
The whole company is built so it can't โ because we never collect the data in the first place.
